On Sunday, Jan. 22, Most Precious Blood Parish in West Collingswood celebrated the start of the Vietnamese New Year, the Year of the Dragon. The colorful and festive day included a Mass celebrated by Father Joseph Nguyen, pastor, and Father Mike Ezeatu. They were assisted by Deacon Kim Nguyen. The Vietnamese New Year, or Tet, celebrated on the first day of the month on the Lunar Calendar, provides Vietnamese an opportunity to remember and honor their ancestors and welcome the New Year with their families.
