Two Camden Catholic High School field hockey players will travel overseas with USA Field Hockey.
Junior Bella Moore and freshman Sophia Stazi were named to the USA Women’s National Field Hockey U-18 and U-16 teams, respectively.
Moore, a midfielder who collected 10 goals and 14 assists last season for Camden Catholic, will travel to Belgium with the U-18 team and will compete against athletes from Belgium, France and Poland from March 26 through April 2.
Stazi enjoyed a breakout freshman year with 33 goals and 11 assists. She will travel to the Netherlands with the U-16 team to compete against Belgium, Germany and host Netherlands on the same dates.
Both girls helped the Irish win their second consecutive Non-Public state championship in the fall during a 18-2-1 season.
Camden Catholic already has national representation, as 2023 graduate Olivia Bent-Cole, who was a standout freshman at Northwestern this year, is currently on the 2024 U.S. Under 21 Women’s National Team’s roster.
