Editor:
Congratulations to the Diocese of Camden on a joyous and blessed 75th Jubilee Year. I had 34 wonderful grace-filled years serving the good people of God of the Diocese of Camden. I take this opportunity to thank all the priests, sisters, brothers, deacons, teachers, retreatants, students, parents and friends, for all their support, respect and love. My heart and soul have been touched and blessed by so many great men and women. I thank you for your goodness and kindness.
I began my diocesan journey at St. Augustine School in Ocean City in 1959. I only had one short year but I have a heart full of memories. I returned in 1974 to serve as Assistant Vocation Director. In 1980 I had the great privilege to serve in the Retreat House. In 1988 I served in my beloved parish of Most Holy Redeemer, Westville Grove. In 1990 to 2007 I was blessed to be able to complete my journey and mission in Pastoral Care at St. John of God Community Services. It was at St. John of God that I learned true acceptance, loving and forgiving. I received so much more than I was able to give. All these ministries are sacred to me.
I wish I could thank each of you by name, so to all of you, “Thanks for the memories and love, “ I could never have done it without your support and prayers. I carry each of you in my heart as I continue my journey here at St. Joseph Villa, and my mission now is to continue to pray with deep gratitude for you and your loved ones. Please keep me and all our sisters here at our Villa in your good prayers.
Peace to all,
Sister Cynthia Ludwick, SSJ
