Since August 2020, the nonprofit has helped provide pregnancy and parenting support such as maternity and baby wear; financial budgeting; job resources, and parenting life skills to “empower them to be who they want to be,” said Tricia Bradberry, founder and board chairwoman.

To celebrate the acquisition – which was made possible though numerous contributions, the majority from Brigantine’s Knights of Columbus Council 7020 – a blessing and dedication was held at the center. Many of the center’s volunteers, staff and board members are Catholic.
Sue Decker, client manager/educational coordinator, said it is her hope that the machine will help guide women to “see a way forward” in their pregnancy.
“We’re hoping … that when they see that 4D ultrasound, it’s going to resonate, and they’ll say, ‘That is really my baby. Their heart is beating,” she said.
The day also saw the center and Knights of Columbus honor local pro-life leader Joe Gross with a plaque for his efforts.
Father Carlo Santa Teresa, parochial vicar of Saint Joseph Parish, Somers Point, led the blessing and dedication.
