Bishop Joseph A. Williams joined Bishop Dennis Sullivan and Superintendent of Catholic Schools Dr. Bill Watson for a visit with students and faculty May 22 at Saint Margaret Regional School in Woodbury Heights. The group was greeted by Sister Michele DeGregorio, FMIJ, principal; Father Joseph Pham, pastor of Infant Jesus Parish; and student council members from the eighth-grade class.
The students gave Bishop Williams and Bishop Sullivan spiritual bouquets, pledging to pray for both through the end of the school year. The tour then stopped at the kindergarten class, where they were treated to a special song and dance with the children performing “Light of the World,” which they will sing in June at their graduation. “You children have lighted up my world today!” Bishop Williams said, before visiting more grade levels.
