Many thanks from this loyal Catholic to the bishops for bearing the trouble that the HHS mandate and some members of Congress represent. Congresswoman Pelosi thought she was making a political jab at the church leadership by asking: “Where are the women?” I replied, Here I am! I and many more appreciate the heat that my congressional leaders and my Catholic bishops and leaders of other faiths take on behalf of the American women who do not want a government-dictated conscience rammed down their throats.

So, many thanks to the bishops for speaking for us and allowing us to simply hide in their shadow.
