This week Talking Catholic goes international, as Jen Mauro and guest cohost EmmaLee Italia talk to author and filmmaker Robert Orlando and Father Andrew Dalton, LC, about Orlando’s new documentary film and book, “The Shroud Face to Face.”

First, Jen and EmmaLee, contributing editor at The Monitor Magazine, reunite over having worked together in Catholic journalism for years in the Diocese of Trenton.

Then, they get down to business, introducing their guests and thanking Father Dalton for joining them only hours after arriving from Rome, where he teaches at the Pontifical Anthenaeum Regina Apostolorum.

Orlando, who is pursuing graduate studies at Princeton Theological Seminary, and Father Dalton will be appearing in person Sept. 22 in Freehold to talk about the Shroud of Turin. Orlando will show a substantial excerpt from his new film, followed by a discussion between him and Father Dalton. Orlando will also sign copies of his book.

Want to learn how the Shroud of Turin can deepen your faith and hope? Or about how the Shroud is a true example of science and faith working together? Tune in to the podcast and don’t miss the Shroud talk on Sept. 22, being held from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold.
