Editor:
I just wanted to extend my sincerest gratitude to Bishop Galante for offering the Lay Ministry Formation Program at Georgian Court. I have learned so much and it has been such a wonderful experience for me. I have met wonderful people in the program and I cannot even begin to tell you how much I have learned in the classes. I am in my fourth class and looking forward to more classes. I am also looking into pursuing the Social Justice certificate. I am presently the youth and young adult minister for my parish, St. Mary of Mount Carmel in Hammonton. While I find this pastoral ministry to be very fulfilling, my interests are leaning toward social justice.
The one thing, among many, I find interesting is that my colleagues in class seem to share the same attitude; that is, not what are you going to do for me but what can I do for you? They are a wonderful group of people who come from varying backgrounds but share the same sentiment, serving the Lord.
I am hoping to use my education for the betterment of the world while serving the Lord at the same time. Once again, thank you for this wonderful opportunity, I have met wonderful people, shared similar experiences, learned from others and their experiences, and have attended exciting seminars and workshops.
My sincerest hope is that you have a wonderful holiday season and a beautiful new year. My best to you and many blessings now and always.
